Clinicians are the most important piece of the SharedClarity business model and the core of what we do.
We utilize science, quality reporting, physician facts and independent studies to drive sourcing strategies that can lead to improved patient outcomes, reduced readmissions and lower costs for medical devices.
Physician-led clinical review councils (CRC) evaluate existing science and other clinical information on medical device performance and make clinical recommendations based on the results. These teams are comprised of national key opinion leaders, member clinical leaders, third-party data aggregation resources and SharedClarity clinical leadership.
Quality issues on specific medical products are identified using FDA guidelines, recalls and the Manufacturer and User Facility Device Experience (MAUDE) reporting database.
Physician operational needs and clinical experiences are collected during physican focus groups. Physician facts include detailed information on operative technique trends, product nuances, unique product indications and physician experience.
